The 4th Call for Small-Scale Capitalisation Projects under the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme 2021–2027 is now officially open.
Developed within the framework of the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM), the Call was presented on 24 September 2026 in Bari, during the Info Day held at Fiera del Levante.
With a total budget of €1,034,902.40, the Call supports small-scale projects focused on the transfer, adaptation and capitalisation of results previously developed within other Interreg programmes.
The Call has a particular focus on sustainable tourism governance, supporting initiatives related to:
- strategic governance of tourism destinations and services;
- green transition and sustainability;
- the social dimension of tourism, including employment, skills, accessibility and inclusion;
- innovative and smart tourism products and solutions.
Eligible applicants include public authorities, bodies governed by public law and private non-profit organisations located in the Programme area: Puglia, Molise, Albania and Montenegro.
Project partnerships must involve at least two participating countries, including at least one Italian partner, and may consist of up to four partners, including the Lead Partner.
Each project may receive up to €200,000 and may have a maximum duration of 12 months.
A key feature of the Call is the Giver–Taker approach. Applicants are expected to select an existing result, tool, methodology or solution developed within another Interreg programme participating in the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism and transfer, adapt or test it within the South Adriatic area.
